With the clear blue water in the calm lagoon where the reef extrends all the way till the tide at its lowest just covers the coral, fish will be swimming all over, angelfish, clownfish and so many others whose names i shall name another day when i've time to. One can just sit on shore and admire the amazing sunsets and mark the end of a day of reverie.
On the other coasts flanking the lagoon, there are the rolling waves which break upon the metamorphic rocks from cooled lava which flowed centuries ago. Another beach small, but white as ivory. The starting point for an adventurous surfer(not myself) who would hit the waves. "KAWABUNGAAaaaaaaaa". A little islet lies by the side where my canoe is docked, stocked and ready for me to embark on any undertaking i may choose.
There lies further north, a tributary of the freshest mountain spring water whose source stems from the looming mountain above.
